IMPORTANT INFORMATON FOR GUESTS
WATER : Water is a scarce commodity in the desert. Please use it sparingly at all times and ensure that no taps are left open or dripping. Please report all faulty plumbing without delay.
WATERHOLE : Antelop, scavengers and other mammals often visit the waterhole. Please do not disturb the animals and, for your own safety, do not encroach within 100 metres of the waterhole.
LITTER : Please do not litter our clean environment. Use the bins provided or retain your litter until it can be suitably disposed of. Use the provided ashtrays for disposal of cigarette butts - they also pose a further fire risk.
VEHICLES AND THE ENVIRONMENT : Please be aware of and conscientious towards our delicate and finely tuned desert environment. Stay on the roads at all times and drive slowly (20km/h).
WILD AND DANGEROUS ANIMALS : Desert Camp is situated on the Taleni Africa 40 000 hectare private reserve. Wild and dangerous animals roam freely and may be encountered at any time. Contact with such animals should be avoided. Entrances to accommodation units should be kept closed, especially at night.
